Everyone deserves to feel safe in their community Anti-social behaviour (ASB) is behaviour that causes alarm, harassment or distress to others. It can include things such as excessive noise, nuisance neighbours, vandalism, intimidation, street drinking, drug-related activity and other behaviour that negatively impacts people's quality of life.
Anti-social behaviour can affect people's quality of life, leaving residents feeling anxious, frustrated or isolated.
The Safer Selby Hub is based at North Yorkshire Council and works as a partnership between different organisations to reduce, prevent or detect crime, disorder or anti-social behaviour across the Selby district.
If ASB is impacting you or someone you know, don't suffer in silence. Reach out and report it so we can help. Together, we can build stronger, safer communities.
If you would like to report any issues which you may be aware of, you can email the Community Safety Hub on communitysafety.sel@northyorks.gov.uk and your email will be forwarded to the relevant person. You can also contact the Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team on snaselby@northyorkshire.police.uk
If a crime is taking place, or you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact North Yorkshire Police on 999 in an emergency or 101 for non-emergencies. | ||
